Privacy notice

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Who we are

Aldermere Partners (Pty) Ltd is a South African company serving UK businesses. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website, enquiries and bookings. Our business contact address is 310 Gay Steet, Newlands, Pretoria, 0049, South Africa. Contact: michael@aldermerepartners.com.

What this notice covers

This notice covers people who visit our website, contact us, book a call or discuss our services. Where we handle a client’s customer information on that client’s instructions, the client’s privacy notice and our separate data-processing agreement govern that processing.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email, telephone number, business details, booking information and correspondence. We also receive information about your requirements and the advice or action plans we provide. Website hosting and analytics may process technical and usage data, such as device, browser, pages visited and interactions. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it for an agreed purpose.

How and why we use it

We use your details to answer enquiries, arrange calls, assess your requirements, send the requested written action plan, prepare proposals and deliver agreed services. We also use relevant records to administer our business, keep the website secure and meet legal obligations. Where UK GDPR applies, our bases are steps you request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in managing business enquiries and security, and legal obligations. Where consent is required for a particular activity, we rely on consent, which you can withdraw.

The providers we use

We use Framer for our website, Calendly for scheduling, Google’s Gmail service for business email and HubSpot for CRM and enquiry management. These providers process information relevant to their services. Authorised employees may access information needed for their work. We may also share relevant information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal purposes. This notice does not authorise selling personal information or adding you to marketing lists.

International handling

We operate in South Africa, so information from UK visitors may be accessed and handled there. Our service providers may also process information in other countries. UK data-protection rules may require additional safeguards for restricted international transfers, such as approved contractual terms and a transfer assessment. Contact us for details of the locations and safeguards applicable to your information.

How long we keep it

We retain unsuccessful enquiry and booking details for six months after the last contact, then delete or anonymise them. If you become a client, relevant records are retained for the relationship and for applicable legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements. Information needed for a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute may be kept longer than the enquiry period. Provider backups may take additional time to expire.

Cookies and website measurement

The website is hosted by Framer and booking takes place through Calendly. These services may process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies as described in their own notices. We use booking-link click measurement to understand engagement; a click does not confirm a completed booking. You can manage cookies through your browser. Any non-essential tracking requiring consent must be assessed and configured separately; this notice is not a consent mechanism.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Rights may be subject to legal exceptions, and we may need to verify your identity. Email michael@aldermerepartners.com to make a request. We respond within the deadlines required by applicable law.

Questions and complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern. UK individuals may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. For matters under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may contact the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za. This notice does not limit your right to approach a competent regulator.

Updates

We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
